Currently there are 1,312 animals listed as endangered. There are many reasons for why these animals are being killed. One animal called the silverback gorilla is known for its silver fur on its back by specialists. On the other end silverbacks are known as bush meat in Africa. There are called bush meat because they live in the bushes of the jungle, and they are used for meat because of the people’s beliefs that if they eat the animal then they will gain power for their soul and strength. This is the main reason animal are hunted, it is because they have value to us in many business markets like leather, boots, coats, and many more reasons their used. Overall endangered animals are on this list because humans value them as money investments and land recreational values. |
LIST OF ANIMALS ENDANGERED according to the USFWS (United States Fish& Wildlife Service )

The causes of endangerment Animals are because of:
Habitat destructions “When changes occur at a fast pace, there is little or no time for individual species to react and adjust to new circumstances”. According to http://www.endangeredspecie.com/causes_of_endangerment.htm#Overexploitation this causes bad results, makes animals to disappear faster. Also according to this web page humans are the strongest forces in rapid habitat loss. Overexploitation The used of animals for products cause animals to extinct and may become severely endangered. Also the trade of animals parts many species suffer the high rates of exploitation. Still today there are demands for items of animals for example the Rhino horns and tiger bones. Finally some factors that also cause animals to disappear are the diseases that are passed to animals; pollution of the planet also hurt the animals. |
