There are many ways of explaining preservation, it means to keep alive or in existence, it means to keep safe from harm or injury, it means to keep up, to maintain, to keep possession, to keep alive! Our connection with preservation is the animals. We would like the world to know that animals deserve preservation not extinction. We would like people to learn how they can help preserve the many different species of animals we have in our world today.

Today there many people in the world preserving animals. There have even been some who have died happily doing what they loved best and that is making sure the animals live on. The most recent world renowned wildlife preservationist that has recently passed away in 2006 was Steve Irwin. He believed in saving animals from death so that they may live on and keep the species going on. He televised his actions capturing animals that needed help and then showed them getting transferred to his preservation. He believed the world cannot live on without its original inhabitants. He symbolized animal preservation in every form, his one and only ultimate goal was to get people to help animals from meeting their end and it worked there are many preservationists now who are televised. These other preservationists do the same things Steve Irwin did so that the world can know that animals need the help so we should help them live on.

It is affecting the world in many different ways. There have been television reports showing random people who see a deer in trouble stuck in ice do as much as they can to save it. Many of the times this happens the animals live and are taken care of. Preservation means something to the world, preservation has changed the world in great ways such as it becoming a profession. One example is anyone can become a veterinarian which involves saving an animal’s life if it is in trouble or needs medicine for pain that needs caring. Preservation has affected the whole world in many wonderful ways that still to this day is happening, but just like many good things there is a bad side to it. Preservation has a evil twin called destruction, I call it destruction because many major companies go to animals natural habitats just to destroy it for a new building site. The build malls and building for profit but at the same time they destroy the natural habitat, kill the animals, and leave the survivors no where to go.
