Pentagons are polygons with five sides.

 Regular pentagons have five lines of symmetry.

In Washington D.C. there is a famous building called the Pentagon.

The Pentagon is coincidentally shaped like a pentagon.

If you look closely you can see that the black shapes on the soccer ball are pentagons.
