Our Name
The meaning of zealous according to the Oxford Dictionary: “Showing great energy and enthusiasm for something, especially because you feel strongly about it.”
Mascot for Logo
Phoenix:
A fiery bird coming from the Greek mythology, known to perish in flames, and then to be reborn from its own ashes, “rising in brilliance” making it an immortal and fearless creature.
We chose the phoenix as a mascot, because it can be described as zealous – not necessarily in the sense of eagerness but for its endurance and strength.
Development of the Logo
The whole team made a contribution to the development of the logo. We started with a standard picture of a phoenix and gave it to everyone to make suggestions and changes. Afterwards we looked at everyone’s ideas and marked it on a scale of 1-5. We then took the suggestions with the highest marks and combined them to create the logo.
