This website has been designed with youth affected by gangs and their parents in mind for those who have been impacted by the gang life or surrounded by it. Our goal is to educate and bring awareness to society on an issue that largely remains a conundrum to many around the world, namely gangs.

As young leaders, we have taken the challenge to present information which will impact and influence young minds. By sharing our website, we hope to leave a lasting impact and encourage today’s youth to accept their responsibilities as the next generation of empowered leaders and make a change in gang affected communities around the world.

Our website consists of five topics: a history of gangs, why youth join these gangs, their lasting effects of, what we can do to protect our communities from gang activity, and how to identify gang and related activity. These topics will inform about the reality of the impact of gangs in a society that glorifies them. Moreover, by gathering facts through personal interviews of community members, we hope to share first hand knowledge of the lives of gang members in urban communities and those affected. We have been able to apply all the information we have gathered and combine others' insights with our knowledge.  

We have designed what we hope is a useful resource for the many people seeking information about gangs and its impact on society. With the information provided, we hope viewers will be able to form well substantiated opinions and create the way for change
