Optical Illusions
Optical Illusions can be defined as shapes, colour, and line distortions which confuse the eye and brain. When viewing images that trick us in some way, the brain sometimes interprets the visual information incorrectly. It tries to fill in the 'blanks' in to decrease the confusion but when doing so it actually makes no sense. Optical illusions are also things or pictures that deceive the human eye into thinking or cause it to incorrectly perceiving the image, thus causing confusion. There are 2 types of optical illusions: Physiological Illusions and Cognitive Illusions. However, we, in our infinte wisdom, have decided to use our own method of differentiating between illusions. We will tell you what these illusions are but our method makes life easier for you, the not-as-smart-as-us person. :)
