PRESENT

Scientists believe that one half of CO2 stays in the atmosphere, and the other half is absorb by trees and oceans.  Carbon dioxide and greenhouse gases are still increasing in the air. If this trend continues global warming will worsen. The measurements show that it is warmer now than it was since they have measured it. Research has shown that some cold-loving mountain plants located in Europe are moving higher up to access colder climate.
