Helicopters don’t have wings yet they are able to fly amazing well and do something that normal aircraft can't do and that is hover.

This is because they fly in a completely different way than aeroplanes.

Their wings are fixed firmly to the fuselage and when the whole aircraft moves forward and air passes over the wings which producing lift and carry the aircraft into the air.
