How Things Work

We did it! Collaboration was the key to our success! In less than three months, TeamTQofNH&TN conceptualized and created our website, “How Things Work”. TeamTQofNH&TN formed in mid-January 2007. We were all new to Thinkquest. We worked really hard at finding the information we needed for our site.

Acacia is in 5th grade; she worked on the computer mouse. Emma and Katie are also in 5th grade. Emma researched Thomas Edison and the light bulb. Katie helped us learn more about the TV. Brock and Anthony are both in 4th grade. Brock researched the microwave and did our bibliography. Anthony researched the battery.

We had a lot of fun creating this website and hope you like reading all about “How Things Work”!

Have you ever wondered how a light bulb works? How about a toaster? Undoubtedly, you use these objects at least once a day. You know that when you flip on the switch, the light bulb goes on. But do you really know how it works? You probably do this with some other objects as well. Maybe a toaster, a microwave, a battery powered toy you don’t realize how much you use threes things. Here is your chance to find out how they work! Check out the many links below!
