Hera is the beautiful wife and
sister of Zeus. She is
the god of marriage and birth. Her beauty is renewed each spring. She is the
Queen of Olympians. Hera was especially worshiped "Argive Hera". The pomegranate
became a emblem of Hera. She had four children. They were Ares, Hebe, Eris, and
Eileithyia. Hera was the stepmother and enemy of Heracles.
