Artemis is the daughter of
Zeus and Leto and the twin of Apollo. She is one of the most popular and oldest
known goddess. Cypress and deer are sacred to her. She was born in the island of
Delos. She was also called the "lady of Ephesus". She was worshipped as the God
of fertility/childbirth in some places.
