THEATRE

The Roman theatre of Alcudia is located in the

northwestern part of the majorcan coast on one of the

Balearic Islands. Roman theatres used to show

gladiator fights and during the Roman era,

the theatres used to have an elliptical form.

The theatres were built with stones.

AQUEDUCTS

The aqueducts were artificial tunnels which took

water to and from places.

They were used so that dry areas

could obtain water from areas which

had more water. Although we tend to

think that aqueducts were used only

in ancient times, in some places in Spain,

for example, they are still in use.
