Farms Visited

Farms Visited: Introduction

Each of us visited a farm or two. We learned how things worked at the farms. To read the descriptions of the farms either click on the farms to the left, or click on the farms below.

Turner Farm: Turner Farm is an organic/natural farm. Turner Farm grows organic vegetables and raises animals naturally.
Natural Farm: The Natural Farm raises sheep, turkeys, cows, chickens, and horses. The Natural Farm also grows natural vegetables and raspberries.
Worm Farm: The Worm Farm showed us the importance of worms used in organic farming. This farm raises chickens for chicken shows, and goats that eat weeds.
German Farm: The German Farm workers told us about raising cows for meat that is organic.
Hawaiian Farm: This farm is unique because it is in Hawaii and grows exotic fruits and vegetables year round.
