Organic food is usually more expensive than conventional food. But the results here show that organic produce is about the same price as conventional food. I found these answers by looking at the prices of organic and conventional foods at Kroger, which is a large grocery store. As shown in the table, packaged foods and milk are still quite a lot more than conventional foods.

The price of organic fruits and vegetables are going down and some are the same prices as organic fruits and vegetables. This means that organic fruits and vegetables are getting more popular and the demand for organic produce is larger. Some large stores, including Kroger, are now importing organic foods from far off places like Mexico . These foods are not as fresh as they would be if they were bought from a local store.

The demand for organic food is so great that some organic farms have started acting more like conventional factory farms, buying lots of land and forcing more animals onto it. Some people think that if this keeps going on organic farmers might start using synthetic chemicals on plants and animals.
