Statue of Liberty
The Statue of Liberty is in the United States in the New York Harbor. It was started in 1884 and completed in 1886. The Statue of Liberty was used to show the immigrants that they were close to Ellis Island and now is used for tourist attraction.
The Statue of Liberty symbolizes the friendship between the United States and France during the American Revolution (Revolutionary War) from 1775 to 1783, and was paid for completely, by the French people.
The architect of the Statue of Liberty was Fredric Bartholdi. The Statue of Liberty does still exist, but what used to be brown is now a shade of green. The Statue of Liberty is in good shape with the environment except for the fact that the statue has turned green because of the precipitation in New York. The Statue is in no danger of falling.
