The Great Pyramid
Did you know that the Great Pyramid is the oldest of the three pyramids at Giza? Or that it took the builders 20 years to complete? How about that it is a tomb to pharaoh Kufhu who is also called Cheops? It’s all true! Want to know if it was made in B.C. or A.D.? B.C.! It’s now called Khufu’s pyramid or the pyramid of Khufu. It could fall apart in just a few years. There are little pyramids in front of his for his wives.
It is amazing that people who had no mechanical machines can make things that we can’t! Maybe someday we will make something as great as the Great Pyramid.
