The Colosseum

 

       The Colosseum is a very interesting landmark. It is located in Rome, Italy and is 50 meters tall and 185 meters in length. It was made by the Flavin Roman emporers to amuse their subjects and to get their minds off the bad things at the time. It was started between 70 and 72 A.D. and completed in 80 A.D. The Colosseum still exists today, but it is in danger of falling, some of the walls are crumbling, and it no longer has the canvas covering. Today it is used for tourist attraction. You should really go see the Colosseum.
