This is how to make a Martian volcano:

Materials:

Bottle with a neck

2 tablespoons of baking soda

½ a cup of vinegar

1 teaspoon of dishwashing soap

Red food colouring

Glitter (optional)

Tools:

Sheet of newspaper

Spoon

Measuring cups and spoons

A funnel

Instructions:

1) Place the newspaper onto the floor on table stand the bottle onto the newspaper, and place the funnel into the bottle, this is to prevent spilling.

2) Carefully pour the 2 tablespoons of baking soda into the bottle.

3) Pour ½ a cup of vinegar into the cup then add the dishwasher soap and a few drops of the food colouring. Stir gently whilst adding the glitter (optional).

4) When the vinegar mix is mixed well, pour it into the bottle

and then stand back and wait for your volcano eruption.
