Australia is the smallest continent in the world. It lies between the Pacific and Indian oceans. Most women, for the most part from China and Southeast Asia, were forced into the country for the reason of prostitution. Several of these women traveled to the motherland willingly. They worked in both legal and illegal brothels, however some allegedly were deceived into debt bondage or sexual servitude.

In Germany women were forced to provide sexual services. This was between the years of 300 and 400. They worked in Nazi armament factories. Most male prisoners didn't admitted until after their release that they took advantage of women. The women of course, in fear, kept this shameful secret also.

The number of women and children being sold into sex slavery around the world is growing more and more each day. An estimated two million women and children are sold into the sex trade every year into the United States. Europe has taken special precautions to make sure that this doesn’t happen anymore. If caught, there will be penalties for the people who have enslaved these women.

Statistics estimates that there are 8,000 girl-slaves that were brought to America in 2006. These girls are hierodulic slaves. They combine the roles of agricultural slaves and domestic slaves. These women either do this because they are promised a better life or are forced to do it.

Illegal aliens are a human tragedy. Most of the women are being used as prostitutes. Many places in South America are very poor rual areas and to make money for their families young girls become prositutes. The conditions that they think they are being brought over for are not as they seem. When they get over here they are forgotten on the streets of wherever they are placed. Most of these girls don’t make it past 2 years.

Twenty-five years after the overthrow of the Shah, sex slavery began in Iran. Many people thought that the fundamentalist Islamic regime would free women and girls. Twenty-five years ago, the Shah of Iran was overthrown diverse set of groups. The sex slavery rate here are not as bad as in other countries because they have more control of what people come in and out the country.

There is sex slavery in Canada. Most of the women who prostitute their bodies are murdered. Each year the number of murders of prostitution, alone, increases. In the year of 1991 to 1995 there were 63 prostitutes that were killed. In 1998 there were three more prostitutes that were killed in Toronto, Canada. The police who were involved with the case came to the conclusion that it is a serial killer who killed the three prostitutes in 1998. They believe it was a serial killer who killed the three women because there was a woman who was attacked and was able to get away. She reported her attack to the police. In Vancouver, Canada there are children who sell their bodies. The children are the ones who often get caught while prostituting.

In China there is sex slavery mainly in North Korea. A woman from North Korea, Kim Chunae stated that she was locked into a house and was raped for as long as she stayed. Her daughter, on the other hand, was sold three times to three different traffickers. Kim was able to escape after five years. She made her way to South Korea. Since Kim escaped there have been about 100,000 to 300,00 people who have followed in her footsteps. The others who haven’t escaped yet are hiding in North Korea. Aid workers have said that there have been from 70% to 90% of people who have been sold for sex in North Korea.

In Europe sex slavery seems to be huge especially in Pristina, Kosovo. East European women have been forced to go to Kosovo. They are now forced to live their life of violence, abuse, starvation, and disease. The women who are forced to be involved with sex slavery are forced to have a minimum of 10 to 20 clients a night. The women who have tried to escape have been killed. A woman, who speaks out, states that the prostitution that is occurring is not ordinary. The women have not volunteered to take on this job. They are abused and degraded. This woman is shocked that people are being used to sell their bodies in Europe during this century. During the last six months police have been capable of saving 50 women. They have taken the women to halfway houses so they can receive treatment and preparation and return home.

Mexico is the most populous Spanish-speaking country in the world. 43% of their populations are children under 18. Many of the kids are so poor that they migrate to urban areas in the United States and get caught up the sex slave trade. Most slave trades are hidden and are not visible by the public. The Mexican trafficking problem is often conflated with alien smuggling.

Each year, thousands of women and girls worldwide are "trafficked" from their homelands and turned into sex slaves. Some go against their will and some go peacefully. At least 100,000 illegally immigrated prostitutes were working in the United States, in May 1999 from Poland.
