Wut up, Wut up, Wut up? My name is Bre, and I’m a junior attending high school in Pennsylvania. I enjoy singing, dancing, and love talking on the phone. I’m on my school’s track team, and enjoy doing that in the spring. I’m a very outspoken person. When it comes to saying what’s on my mind, I’m ready to do that at any given time.

I recently moved to Pennsylvania, and that’s how I heard about the upward bound program, and I saw it as an opportunity to meet new people and better educate myself. I also want to go away to college, and upward bound would help me to accomplish that goal. This summer is my second year in the upward bound program, and my second year participating in Trio Think Quest and I still love it. Last summer, of 2005, was my first year in the upward bound program, and also my first year participating in the Trio Think Quest competition.

Working on this website was a whole lot easier for me this year. Before last summer the most I had done in terms of work like this was creating a simple web page. I was again set up in a group of three with two new partners this year, and we came up with the idea to make a website based on youth violence. I was previously the tech/design person in the Trio Think Quest competition and I am again this summer. I was able to put different colors, frames, borders, and etc. together to give the website the great look it had with the help of my teammates and professors. I’ve learned so much being in think quest, including that making a website is not as hard as it seems.
