This website has been designed by Anahita, Pragya and Monika. All three designers are currently studying in The International School Bangalore-TISB and are well on their way to completing the International Baccalaureate Course. They share a passion for computers and are taking it up for studying at a higher level
An interview was conducted and here are the excerpts from the interview:
- How was it making this website?
Monika-It was a
wonderful experience! and it enlightened me about Microsoft Front page which
I'm embarrassed to say that I hadn't heard of it before!
Pragya-It taught
us beyond the school curriculum and it was thoroughly enjoyable!
- Why did you choose 'Dances Of India' as your theme for the site?
Monika-India has a
rich cultural heritage which people aren't to familiar with... so we decided
to enlighten them!
Anahita- People
are aware that India has developed a few dances but can't distinguish among
them. the reason I was very pro this topic is because it informs other
cultures the subtle yet important differences between different dances.
- Did any of you ever receive any formal dance training?
Pragya-Yes...Kathak
for five years but switched my focus towards swimming eventually
Anahita- Yes
Odissi and Russian Ballet.... though I was better at the latter!
- What are your views on the think quest competition?
Together- We think this is a great opportunity for us to learn beyond our text books and broaden our horizon! competitions like these should take place more often...definitely!
