The main part that I did in this project was helping Daniel with the Pacific Rim Study, and I worked on the page about marine debris. We got Lauren to draw our ocean currents map. My favorite part in this project was being able to go on the field trips, and to see what things people are throwing in our oceans that are so harmful. I learned how to use teamwork with other people in my group. I helped my team by assisting them with the poster contest and whenever they needed my help. I learned about the devastation that marine debris has caused to our marine life when people throw there rubbish in the ocean. |

One of my first jobs was to gather our team. Our coach came to me and asked me if I wanted to join, and I said yes. Then, she told me to find a team and I did. The main part of the project that I worked on was the Pacific Rim Study. Some of it was hard to understand. We had to help each other understand it. I also was a judge in the poster contest. My favorite part of the project was going on the field trips. |

The main part of the project that I worked on was the Community Awareness project. I did the poster contest at our school, and helped give out the awards and prizes. How I looked at this, is that each one has their own talents and that is one way that we worked together. My favorite part of the project was the poster contest. I really liked telling our school about our project and what we had learned. The new thing that I learned, is that I'm better with a computer now. |

My favorite part of this project was the field trips when we went to the Heeia Pier to look at and collect marine debris. The main role I did in this project was making the banners and the animations for the web pages. This helped my team, because some of the others didn't like doing this, and wanted me to do it. I also helped with the Spanish pages, Our Field Trip page, and the games. The skills I learned were how to use the software programs Dreamweaver and Flash. The important thing I learned about marine debris is that it can kill innocent sea creatures and pollute the ocean waters. |

The part that I did the most was videotaping and editing the movie. I also made Our Glossary page. My favorite part in this project was going on the field trips and discovering all the marine debris. I found beer bottles and cigaretts the most. The skill that I learned in this project was how to edit a movie. I showed our team how to edit and make a movie. The most important thing that I learned from all these experiences, was that you should never ever leave rubbish around because every time you leave rubbish around you are killing a sea life creature. |

One of my main parts of this project was to help with the Community Awareness Project. I helped decide the winners of the poster contest and took pictures. I worked on the introduction page and the Spanish pages on our site. I had the most fun when we went on our field trips and filmed the movie. I think that doing this project taught me to be more focused because when you get distracted, you miss out on a lot of work. I helped my team by making signs and by taking pictures, and by finding information. I learned that marine debris isn't just a bunch of trash in the ocean, it's harmful to our environment. |
