The water looked sort of dirty, and there was this brown foam along the shore. There was a lot of junk floating in the water. |

Kaneohe Beach Park, Kaneohe, Hawaii - The shoreline of Kaneohe is more dirt than beach. At Kaneohe Beach Park, the currents bring stuff to shore.
We found a lot of junk here! There were a lot of plastic bags, cigarette lighters, straws and plastic forks. |

Kailua Boat Ramp, Kailua, Hawaii - We wanted to see if the beach boat ramp would be the same as Kaneohe.
It was a lot cleaner over here, but this is not where the currents come in. We found cigarettes, and cigarettes are the biggest part of marine debris in Hawaii.
