Jill

Hello, my name is Jill.  I was born on March 29, 1996.  I have a wonderful family consisting my dad, Jay, mom, Abbie, sister, Cori, and a dog named Mickey.  I love to dance, play basketball and other sports, hang out with my friends, write stories, go shopping, and go on the computer.  I decided to do ThinkQuest because it would give me an opportunity to work with other people and so I can be prepared for the challenges that I will have to face in both middle and high school.  Also, to learn more about where I live, the movies made in Maryland and Maryland movie offices.  Lastly, participating in this project will help many others learn about Maryland and its movies.  I had a superior time working with my peers on this task, and I hope that this will contribute to helping me when in my future years.  This was a fantastic way to get used to the computers and doing something that requires hard work.  I hope very deeply that you now learn about Maryland!

Corey

My name is Corey, and I go to school at Chatsworth Elementary in Baltimore, Maryland.  At home, I live with my mom, dad, and brother, and I also have a cat named TieDye, two hermit crabs named Hank and Lemon Drop, and fish.  I play the trumpet, piano, and I am hoping to learn how to play the guitar.  I also am a fan of art, and I like baseball.  In my spare time I read, go on the computer, ride my bike, or do activities with my family like hiking.   My technology teacher, Mrs. Gaul, showed me this competition, and from the beginning it was something I wanted to do.  I ended up doing it with some of my peers, Michael, Cassidy, Ashley, and Jill, on my state’s movie industry.  I am very glad I got the opportunity to do this; I think it has been a great experience.

Michael

            Hello my name is Michael.  I was born on February 23.  I wanted to do ThinkQuest because it gave me a chance to compete in a worldwide competition with my peers.  It also was a chance to give our team a challenge.  I like to play sports and board games.  I am a fifth grader at Chatsworth Elementary school in Reisterstown, MD, USA.

Cassidy

      Hello, my name is Cassidy.  I am 10 years and live in Baltimore, MD with my mom, my dad, my two little sisters, and another younger sibling soon to come.  I enjoy playing lacrosse, going shopping, reading, and playing on the computer.  I am very involved in my academics and enjoy working hard and doing my best in school.  I got involved in ThinkQuest when I heard about it from my friend.  She told me that you got to create a website on a topic of your choice, and that you got to be artistic and work together as a team to complete your website.  I have really benefited from doing ThinkQuest because of the friendship bonds I’ve created, and because of all the knowledge I have gained so far in the process.  Participating in this project has shown me so much about the kind of person I am and the kind of person I want to be.   This project is something I will always remember, and I will cherish the knowledge that I have learned along the way.

Ashley

       My name is Ashley, and I am 11 years old. I love to act, because I think it is a great way to express myself, and I am always putting on plays.  I have many friends and they are all important people in my life.  I live with my mom, Jamie, my dad, Adam, my sister, Taylor, and my brother, Brett, and we do many things together, such as playing sports, going on vacations, and playing games.  My favorite sport is basketball, but I also enjoy lacrosse, softball, soccer, football, field hockey, and dance.  Furthermore, I love animals, and my favorite animal is the panda.  Working on this ThinkQuest project was an amazing experience, not to mention entertaining.  I thought our topic was perfect for us, because we are all citizens of Maryland, and we all enjoy movies.  I hope you enjoy our site too!
