Team Research And Writing Source Reliability Standard

We said NO to Wikipedia.
Why?

While doing our research, we have taken great pains to maintain a high standard of reliability and credibility for all of our sources.  We feel that it is very important to ensure the accuracy of all information that is being presented, and therefore place a high emphasis on being mindful of where that information is coming from. It is for these reasons that we have decided to make our website a Wikipedia-free site. Wikipedia is considered by many, to be a great source of general information. The fact that anyone can initiate or edit any of its articles, however, greatly lowers the content’s reliability.  The information cannot be confirmed, and sometimes it can appear to come solely from one individual’s perspective. A person does not have to be an expert to post information on Wikipedia or any of its many branches. We hope that by eliminating the use of Wikipedia as a source, we have succeeded in ensuring an increased standard for our site and the validity of all of its articles.
