This film may be a documentary, but, to many it came
off as a “shock-u-mentary!” This film is about the director, Morgan
Spurlock, who decides to find out what terrible consequences face him while
he eats nothing but McDonald's for three meals a day, for a whole month. The
negative results are expected. Though the extent of the damage doesn't fail
to disturb the audience. This health endangering stunt was an opportunity to
spotlight America's struggle with obesity and an attack on fast food
companies and their marketing ideas and plans. In one scene he showed a
bunch of kids some pictures of famous people and TV characters (this
included Jesus) and asks them who they are, one child thought that Jesus was
George W. Bush, but every single child knew exactly who Ronald McDonald was.
Every single time you watch Morgan gulp down another Big Mac, you can feel
yourself getting sicker and sicker. If you need just a little extra
incentive to keep you away from the drive-troughs at any fast-food joints,
this movie is for you; I myself have been thinking twice about ever getting
fast food since I've seen it.
