| Rugby Sevens |
The first Rugby Sevens tournament was played in 1883 at Melrose Rugby Football Club (RFC) in Scotland . Ned Haig (pictured right) came up with the idea as the club was looking for new ideas to raise funds.
The game involves two Rugby Union teams, on a full size pitch (which is about the same size as an American Football pitch), with only seven players on each side. It is not a game for the unfit!
The game has grown since 1883 and, today, there is a professional Rugby Sevens tour. Probably the most prestigious tournament is the Hong Kong Sevens, which is held annually at the end of March. However, traditions continue at Melrose RFC, they still hold a sevens tournament each year.

Answer to the St Ives riddle: There are, basically, four interpretations:
- Answer = 2401 (7 wives * 7 sacks * 7 cats * 7 kittens).
- Answer = 2402 (as above plus the man).
- Answer = 2403 (as above plus the man and "me").
- Answer = 1. (this our favourite answer and the one we think is best). If "I" was going to St. Ives, the people I met must have been going the other way.
