- Tim is 13 years old and in 8th grade at Groves Middle School. He has been interested in computers and software since he was a young child. His father once had a business building and repairing computers, which is probably how he became interested. This year he was on a robotics team at shcool and although his robot was not selected to go to regional contest, he feels he was still successful in its programming. Another thing he learned in Robotics was how to use the software Flash 8 and Dreamweaver 8. He also participates in the shcool band and the athletics program. He was chosen by his team as team captain of the ThinkQuest.
Mrs. Lege, the Robotics Teacher, and Mrs. Choate, the Technology Specialist, have been a tremendous help by giving us encouragement to keep going, stay on task, and keep deadlines. We worked during class, before school, and after school.
