A lot of interesting facts happened during the disco life. In the disco years, that's when people had the "funk" and the "peace". The beginning years of disco was during 1972-1974. At first the name for disco music was called"discotheque music." No wonder they changed the name. Some of the hits were songs like "The Love I Lost" by Harold Melvin and "Rock the Boat" by Hues Corporation. Some of the major hits back then are still listened to by many people around the world. Around the late 70s, Diana Ross came out with "Love Hangover" which was a huge hit. There's one more thing we can't forget about and that's the flower children. They believed in "love not war." Because of the flower children, the peace symbol was a major hit.
