Islam's viewpoint about" Shir Baha":
"Shir Baha" means a gift to a bride for having nursed the baby, in future, now part of the marriage portion settled upon the wife, which is paid before hand in cash.
If the conditions of the "Shir Baha" are specified in dowry, such a contract is acceptable and the girl is possessor of that amount of money. Bride's parents with her permission can use that money for preparing tocher. But if that amount is received as remuneration, even if it's for the purpose of preparing the tocher, this contract is invalid but the whole theory us acceptable and valid.
