Weddings purchases:

After espousal ceremony bride and grooms start to purchase things for the wedding. nowadays couples are more willing to do these purchases together and without the presence of the others .but still in traditional families close relatives accompany bride and groom for these purchases. In traditional way of purchasing things for the wedding bride and grooms sister,sister in law and aunts are accompanying them. Bride and grooms mothers and not attending them because their dignity and status do not let them to do so although they have been invited ti accompany bride and groom these purchases but according to this custom they see their dignity in not let other female relatives join bride and groom in this taks.its also not common for a large group of people to accompany bride and groom and go with them from one shop to another.

 

A gift for attendance:

Whether bride and grooms female relatives are accompanying and helping them for these purchases there is a custom that groom should buy each person an appropriate gift based on their age and status.this gift can be a scarf or even a cloth . its appropriate to buy elders and close relatives cloths.list of gift that grooms family present to brides family:

-The holy book Koran.(it is the first gift that couple proceed to buy al gift from lord above to humans which is holy Koran.)

-Mirror and a pair of candlestick

-Wedding ring

-Make up accessories

 

Marriage special mirror:

Taking the mirror to bride's house without damaging it was so important for our ancestors. They were even so précised about buying a limpid and clear mirror, because they believed that. This mirror has a close relation with bride's luck. If anything used to happen to this mirror during the time it was taken to bride's house it was a sign of catastrophe for both families.
