Espousal ceremony's special room: Espousal ceremony must be held in a room which has some specific conditions. Our ancestors used to believe that under this room should not be empty. In other words they ment that if this room was on top of the basement or underground, this marriage was not going to last long and perdurable. Bride, sitting alone in front of espousal napery: In the espousal's room they used to spread a coral pink pane or a cashmere napery on the floor the way that it was facing Muslim's kiblah, and bride used to sit alone in front of it. The things that were placed on the espousal napery are the same as now. But the usage of some of them has been changed during time.
