Don’t Sit on My Lunch

Don’t Sit on My Lunch, by Abby Klein shows that you might make friends with a bully just by being on the same team at a sport. Max, the meanest bully in the whole first grade, challenged Freddy to go to a tryout and see who’s best at hockey. Freddy doesn’t know anything about hockey. He learns and practices with his friend Jessie. (Who is on the hockey team Freddy is trying out for.) The people have a scrimmage. Seven people are on max and there are 11 seconds on the clock and he centers it to Freddy and he hits the puck over the goalie and into the goal. They won 3 to 2. The coach says, “I just got news that there are actually 2 spots left on the team and the people who made it are Max Sellers and Freddy Thresher!” max and Freddy became friends and lived happily ever after.
