Rules

A game of bowling has very simple rules. It must be played on a wooden
lane, with a ball being thrown so it rolls down the lane to knock over 10
pins set in a triangle at the end.
- A game of bowling takes 10 frames.
- A frame is one set of 10 pins.
- The bowler has two chances to knock over as many pins as possible in
each frame.
There is a line across the bowling lane called the foul line. When part
of the bowler's body touches the lane or goes over the foul line during or
after the roll it is called a foul. When a foul is played on a score board,
no score is counted on that ball. Any pins that may have been knocked
over must be reset without counting them. The same thing happens with a gutter
ball.
