How to Throw the Ball

When starting to throw the ball a player will start at the foul line and turn their back to the pins. Then they should walk 4 and a half steps and turn around until they see the pins again, using the guide lines on the ground to help. Now the player should be in the right position to throw the ball.
Stand so that your feet are two inches apart. If you are a righty your left foot shoud be a half an inch forward. If you are a lefty your right foot should be a half an inch forward.

Steps

Extend your arms in front at the corner. Keep your elbows locked while holding the ball. This is called a pushway. Take a normal step and let the ball drop.

Take one more step and still let the ball drop. The ball should be by your leg that is away from the pins.

When taking your third step the ball should be the same height as your head. This is called the back swing.

When taking your 4th step your other leg should swing behind the other foot to the other side. Your ball should be the same depth as your ankle, when it is the same depth as your ankle, let it go into the middle of the lane and watch it go. Your hand should be the same height as your head.
