My name is Jamela and I am a freshman at Eastside Preparatory High School in East Palo Alto, California. Before I started ThinkQuest, the only knowledge I had about creating a website was on my Myspace page. Now, I am able to create websites that are new and fresh. Our main goal for this website was to inform teen about leukemia while informing ourselves. Our other goal was to shine the light on this topic that has been pushed to the side for so long.
I took on the role of being project manger. I also created the Cause and Symptoms page along with Francisco. It was a lot of hard work but in the end it was worth it. As a member of Da Ambassador, I really feel that we worked well together, and we got the job done.
I am Wynesha. I am a freshman at Eastside College Preparatory in East Palo Alto, CA. Before I started I started multimedia, I would not ever thought about making a website by having to create your own html. I used html before on Myspace page ever to create my own website. If it was not for the ThinkQuest competition, I would have learned about Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Imageready. I took the role of creating the About Us Section, and sent permissions out for the images.

My name is Jose, I am a freshmen student at Eastside Preparatory High School in East Palo Alto. Before Think Quest, I never thought about web design. After Think Quest, I learned how to make slideshows on Windows Movie Maker, write for the web, and how to site my sources using MLA.
Before ThinkQuest, I knew how to use Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and ImageReady. My role on the website was to write about the types of leukemia, the treatments for leukemia and to interview a person that had or has leukemia.

My name is Francisco and I am a sophomore at Eastside College Prep. My main role in this site was the design and layout. I participated in the Thinkquest competition last year, and at that time I was also the design and layout coordinator. I decided to participate again in the copetition because I knew that I could expand my website-building abilities and become more proficient in it. Another reason was because it was just fun. I hope to be able to do this again next year.
