Approximately 250,000 teenagers are diagnosed every year for leukemia. It affects many, many people around the globe. Whether it is the person who has the cancer or the families and friends that have to mourn over the person’s condition, everyone feels the impact leukemia has on them.

Fortunately, there are many organizations that specialize in helping the people afflicted with leukemia.

Now that you are informed about the disease and how it impacts many peoples’ daily lives, you too can help people with leukemia by giving time, money, or even words of encouragement.
So join a forum, donate money, volunteer time, or donate hair. Anything you can give is an enormous help to many families around the world.
