Culture is defined as the unique behaviour, human activity, belief or ideology adopted by a group of people or a country. Culture from a country can be seen from its festivals, literature, diet, clothes, language, moral conduct etc.

Noodles have their own culture too. There is a rich culture and tradition behind noodles and this culture varies within different countries. Noodles exist in three main “forms”. In Europe and Western countries, noodles are commonly termed as ‘pasta’. Whereas, Chinese noodles can be found in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and some Asian countries. Lastly, Japan has her own unique types of noodles. In these 3 categories of noodles, there are diverse cultures which each possess.

The culture behind noodles can be divided into 2 types. The first type of culture is regarding arts and the other one is about food culture.
