Each person’s symptoms of CF are different.  There are more than 1,000 mutations of the CF gene.  The most common symptoms include the following:

·    Bowel movements rare for the first days of life

·    Salty tasting skin in babies

·    Repetitive respiratory infections

·    Excessive coughing or trouble breathing

·    Appetite, normal, but no weight gain

·    Diarrhea, upset stomach

·    Low energy
