ThinkQuest

Thank you for providing us with the opportunity to explore our love of computer technology while having a great time and an excellent learning experience. Not only did we have fun learning but we grew closer together as a team and as friends. We learned how to manage responsibility and deadlines. We also had a chance to understand and learn more about some genetic disorders that involve people in our area and all over the world. Thank you so much for this unbelievable experience.

Dr. Apostolos Psychogios, MD, FACMG

A very special thank you to Dr. Psychogios and his wonderful Genetic Counseler, Shai Huffard-King, who took time from their busy schedule to lead us on a tour of the Center for Genetics at the Curtis & Elizabeth Anderson Cancer Institute. They patiently answered our many questions and helped us better understand the research being done to help cure genetic disorders.

Our Families

Thank you for putting up with all of the late nights and many used ink cartridges. Our team could have never made it through all the hard times without all of the caring words and dinners in bed. We also thank Mrs. Bonifacio who came in to proofread our site and Dr. Carpenter who helped to set up our interview with Dr. Psychogios. Thank you also to Mrs. Carpenter and Mrs. Pinyan who brought us food.

Our Friends

We would like to send a special thank you to our friends at the Genetics Center. Our tours and extra time and information they provided us with gave us a completely different look on genes and genetics.
