In the process of building our website, we found that our very strong and unique opinions and perspectives differed because of our various backgrounds and interests.  Though we were able to negotiate and work well together as a team, we all possessed very strong personalities that at times clashed.  We each had varying degrees of knowledge on the subject of genetics.  Each had a different opinion on cloning, stem-cell research, and other medical subjects that our generation will be faced with in the future.  We took those opinions and merged them together to form a strong website written in an unbiased manner, that each of us could be proud of.  One of the most exciting things we did during our research was to interview several geneticists.  We were given a tour of a research facility by a prominent Greek geneticist who was educated in three different countries – Greece, Great Britain, and the United States.  He was able to give us a world view on genetics that we would have been unable to gain otherwise.  He also introduced us to scientists who were educated in India, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.  Seeing this multi-national, multi-cultural team working together to help solve the mysteries of genetic disorders was amazing.
