Type 3
Type 3 Brittle Bone is next to mildest in severity but not extremely common. At birth, fractures may either be present or x-rays show previous healed fractures that happened in the womb.
· Collagen improperly formed
· Hearing loss possible
· Severe deformation of bones
· Fragile teeth
· Respiratory problems probable
· Spinal cord with inclination to curve
· Triangular shaped face
· Rib cage with barrel form shape
· Loose joints and little muscle tone
· Sclera bluish, purple, or grey tint
· Stunted stature
· Bones susceptible to fractures
