Achondroplasia exhibits few symptoms, but the ones it does produce are prominent.

· Stature abnormally short

· Femur and  humorous bone short

· Legs in a curved shape

· Elbows and knees loosely extended

· Head looking disproportional compared to body size

· Forehead prominent in height

· Spine curved

· Hands with an unusually large space between ring and middle fingers

Many of these symptoms are external and visible instead of the usual internal symptoms exhibited by other genetic disorders.
