Angel Island and Ellis Island were two of the most important immigration processing centers in America’s history.  Angel Island is located in California in San Francisco Bay, and Ellis Island is located in the New York Harbor.  Mostly Asian immigrants entered through Angel Island, while immigrants from all over the world entered through Ellis Island.  These two immigration processing centers played a large role in our nation’s history.
