Mexican immigrants do a great deal to support their home country of Mexico. Immigrants from Mexico make up 14.4 percent of the United States population.  Many Mexican immigrants living in America send money back to their families in Mexico.  This money sent to families in Mexico is one of Mexico’s largest sources of income.  Most Mexican immigrants who work in America have to work at low paying jobs.  There are many reasons why Mexican immigrants can not get better jobs.  One of the main reasons Mexican immigrants cannot get good jobs in America is because many of them are not highly educated or do not speak English very well.  However, many Mexican immigrants are able to make good lives for themselves because they are hard working and truly want to pursue the American dream.
