The Italian Americans in United States’ society are people who retain many aspects of “The Old World Italian” culture.  As everyone knows, Italians are very passionate about their food and so are the immigrants.  Many have remained worshipping God as Roman Catholics.  Also, many Italians have an extended family with many cousins and aunts and uncles and many other relatives.

Italians also affected the music industry in the 1940s as many Italian musical stars arose. Italians who lived in Italy were mostly Catholic.  When those Italians immigrated to America they continued that Catholicism.  Some were such devout Catholics that rather than introducing themselves as Italian they would introduce themselves as Catholics.
