We can say Jerusalem is the orgin of Christianity, Judaism, and the Islam religion. It is a holy city indeed, especially to Christians. Jesus traveled all over Isreal, and the West Bank, but made his greatest miracle in Jerusalem. His resurrection is the biggest event in the Christian Calendar. The Church of Dormition is a holy site, and it lies in Jerusalem.
