Even though Israel is small, Jerusalem is a sacred city for Christians, Jews, and Muslims. It has a population of about 6,276,883 people. Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. It is hot, dry, and natural hazards include: earthquakes, sands storms, and droughts. Jerusalem is located on the left border of the West Bank. To the South East of it is the highly salty Dead Sea. Some of the natural resources in Israel include timber, potash, copper ore, natural gas, phosphate rock, magnesium bromide, clay, and sand, but freshwater is limited. This makes it a Desert area.
