being nomads, left behind their forts so they could return to them when it was
warm enough. These forts were so reliable, and so authentic, that the few
Romans who ever dared to venture into the forts and the even fewer who ever
came back at all had lost their sanity. However, if you compared the
austereness of the fortresses to the lethalness of the weapons, you will end up
