Renaissance Tactics

The tactics used in the Renaissance were mostly defensive and siege tactics. The defensive tactics used were building thicker castle walls because of the cannon. Cannons knocked down simple thin walls. The offensive siege tactics were mining under castle walls and then light gunpowder on fire, so they can break their wall and have offensive solders attack. They also used weapons like trebuchet, ballista’s, and other siege weapons. Another tactic was artillery bombardment. Artillery bombardment was when they used anything they could to get over the other opponents wall. Those are the three tactics used to destroy your opponents in the strategy of surprise.
